4. CONSENT – HOW WE OBTAIN, RECORD, AND MANAGE IT
4.1. Consent Mechanism (CMP)

When you first visit the Platform, you are presented with a cookie management notice deployed through the Platform's Consent Management Platform ("CMP"). The CMP allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookie categories before they are deployed.

The consent mechanism is designed so that:

  • accepting and declining non-essential cookies are presented as equally accessible options;
  • consent is obtained per cookie category rather than by way of a single acceptance;
  • a record of your consent choices is retained;
  • you may review or change your preferences at any time by sending us a request by email.
4.2. Principles of Valid Consent

All consent obtained for cookie deployment meets the following GDPR requirements:

  • Freely given – declining non-essential cookies does not restrict access to the Platform's core functionality.
  • Specific – consent is requested per cookie category; a single omnibus consent is not used.
  • Informed – full information about each cookie's purpose, provider, and duration is presented before consent is sought.
  • Unambiguous – consent is given by a clear affirmative action (clicking a button); passivity or continued browsing is not treated as consent.
  • Withdrawable – you may withdraw consent at any time by sending us a request by email; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
4.3. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You may manage your cookie preferences through the following channels:

  1. Request by Email – you may withdraw or adjust your consent at any time by sending us a request by email. Your initial choices are made via the consent banner displayed on your first visit.
  2. Browser Settings – most browsers allow you to block, restrict, or delete cookies. Browser-specific instructions are provided in Annex B. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair Platform functionality.
  3. Third-Party Opt-Out Tools:
4.4. Do Not Track

The Platform does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals at the network level, except where required by applicable law. Your cookie preferences may be managed by sending us a request by email or through your browser settings, as described above.

4.5. Mobile Applications

The Obmify Mobile Applications for iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play) may use device-level tracking technologies, including:

  • Device advertising identifiers – IDFA (iOS) and GAID (Android) – subject to your device's privacy settings and the applicable platform policy;
  • Push notification tokens, if you grant permission;
  • Crash reports and diagnostic data processed via Apple's and Google's platform crash reporting services.

You may control advertising identifiers through your device's privacy settings. Use of the Mobile Applications is also subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies in respect of data processed by those platforms.

5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Where personal data collected through cookies is transferred internationally, the Company seeks to apply safeguards required by applicable law. Further information about international transfers is available in the Privacy Policy or may be requested by contacting contact@bettertomorrowgroupltd.com.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

For information about your privacy rights and how to exercise them, including your right to withdraw consent, your right to object to processing, and your right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, please refer to the Privacy Policy. Additional jurisdiction-specific contact details, where applicable, are also set out in the Privacy Policy.

7. COOKIE RETENTION PERIODS

Cookies used on the Platform have varying retention periods depending on their type and purpose, ranging from session-based cookies — which are deleted when you close your browser — to persistent cookies that are retained for defined periods. Persistent cookies may be deleted at any time via your browser settings.

Retention periods vary by type and purpose. Some technologies are session-based, while others remain for a defined period unless deleted earlier through your browser, device, or consent settings.

8. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

The Company may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in the cookies used on the Platform, changes in applicable law, or updates to third-party services. The current version is always available at the Platform.

Where material changes are made to this Policy — for example, where new non-essential cookie categories are introduced — the Company will provide notice to users through the Platform's cookie management tool. For non-essential cookies, material changes will be communicated via the consent mechanism before any new processing begins.

Continued use of the Platform following an update to this Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy in respect of strictly necessary cookies. For all non-essential categories, your consent choices remain in effect unless you update them or new consent is required.
